किसी महान आदमी ने कभी कहा था कि किसी शहर के असल रंग को देखना है तो उसकी सुबह देखो।
शाम तो दूसरों की नकल में तबाह कर बैठे है लेकिन सुबह हर शहर की अपनी जागीर होती है।
बनारस में पूरी सब्जी और जलेबी सुबह के वक्त बिकना कोई दस साल पहले शुरू नही हुए है।
पता नही कब से यही नाश्ता बनारसी करते आये है।
हा शाम को बिकने वाला मोमोज़ नया है।
नई आने वाली हर चीज कितना भी चाह ले किसी शहर की सुबह के बीच जगह नही बना पाती।
आज मेरे साथ भी यही हुआ...





सुबह के चार बजे कानपुर पहुच गया, दस बजे काम था इसलिए छः घंटे खाली ही था।
फेसबुक पर लोगो की बताई हुई चाय की जगह को खोजने निकल पड़ा।  चाय तो न मिली लेकिन बहुत कुछ मिल गया देखने समझने को।
कानपुर, बनारस और लखनऊ जैसे पुराने शहर घूमने के नही पढ़ने के लायक होते है।  ये अपने आप मे एक किताब है, जिसे आप पन्ना दर पन्ना,  कदम दर कदम पढ़ सकते है।
आज कानपुर को भी मैंने पढ़ा।
इस शहर में अलग अलग जगह के नाम बड़ी मुहब्बत से रखे गए है, जैसे कोई दोस्त अपने जिगरी दोस्त का नाम रखता है बिल्कुल उसी तरह।
अफीम कोठी, कोका कोला चौराहा, झकरकटी,
वगैरह इसी तरह के नाम है, और इन नामो की सबसे बड़ी खासियत की सवारी को बुलाते वक्त फ्लो बहुत तगड़ा बनता है।
कानपुर में दो चीजें बाकी शहरों से अलग है,
पहली यहां का ऑटो (विक्रम) बाकी शहरों से बड़ा है।
और यहां की बस बाकी शहरों की बसों से छोटी होती है।
मतलब इतनी की यहाँ की ये छोटी बसे, पतले और जाम भरे रास्तो में दिन के कई चक्कर लगाती है।

विक्रम वाले टेम्पो की कहानी ये है कि आपको यहां यात्रियों का आपसी ताल मेल देखने को मिलता है,
कभी आप किसी की गोद मे बैठे होंगे,
तो कभी कोई आपकी गोद मे बैठा रहेगा।
पर मजाल है कि किसी को जरा भी शिकायत हो।
छोटी बस के कंडक्टर को नौकरी से निकाल दिया जाता है अगर उसने कभी किसी सवारी को जगह की कमी से बिठाने से इनकार कर दिया।
मतलब आइए और घुसते जाइये,
बाकी सब ऊपर वाला करता जाएगा।
कानपुर रेलवे स्टेशन के सामने की आधी सड़क पर बाजार लगा हुआ है, बाकी की सड़क पर ऑटो खड़े है,
जो जगह बचती है, उसमे से हमारी ये बसे अपना काम चलाती है।  जाम लगता है, लेकिन यहां हॉर्न नही बजाते ज्यादा, बस ड्राइवर खिड़की से सर निकालकर बस चिल्लाता रहेगा सामने वाले के ऊपर।
लेकिन हॉर्न नही इस्तेमाल करता।
बस में भीड़ इतनी होती है कि किराया मांगने पर अगर आप ये कह दे कि अभी तो दिया था तो कंडक्टर चुपचाप मान लेगा।
सुबह नाश्ते की कहानी तो आप जानते ही है,
लेकिन एक अजीब चीज देखी मैने, यहां ठेलों पर बन मख्खन के साथ छाछ टाइप कुछ बिकता है नाश्ते के टाइम।
यहां सड़क के किनारे हर किलोमीटर पर आपको मंदिर मिल जाएगा, लेकिन अच्छी बात ये है कि और शहरों की तरह ये खाली नही रहता, एक दो लोग लगभग हर मंदिर में दिखे मुझे।
एक तो यहां इतने दानी लोग है कि पूछिये मत,
पासपोर्ट अफिस के बगल में बने हनुमान जी के मंदिर के बाहर बैठे भिखारियों के पास इतनी मिठाई और बिस्किट के पैकेट मिलेंगे आपको की उतने में आधे पाकिस्तान की चीनी की सप्लाई पूरी हो जाएगी।
झकरकटी से जब रावतपुर की तरफ बढ़ेंगे तो आपको रास्ते मे ढेर सारे रावण औंधे मुंह पड़े मिलेंगे,
ये वो रावण है जो इस बार बिक नही पाये।
इनका हाल भी उसी तरह है जैसा हर आईपीएल में पाकिस्तानी खिलाड़ियों का होता है।  या शायद अभी तक कानपुर में दशहरा नही मनाया गया, इस बारे में मेरी जानकारी गलत भी हो सकती है।  इसे बनाने वाले लोग जल्द ही इसे जलाकर अपने लिए रोटी बना लेंगे।
रोटी और दानी से याद आया,यहां रोटी बैंक है,
और जहा तक मुझे पता चला है,
ये बहुत अच्छे से काम करता है आमजनों की सहायता लेकर! मतलब भूख का निपटारा तो लगभग कर लिया है कानपुर ने।

इस छोटे से सफर में मुझे कैंसर के तीन अस्पताल दिखे कानपुर में, मतलब सरकार को भी सोचना चाहिए,
जिन्हें अस्पताल अपने आस पास देख कर डर नही लगा,
वो पैकेट पर छपे वैद्यानिक चेतावनी से डर जाएंगे?
बेवजह सिगरेट और गुटखे की पैकेट पर दाग लगाए बैठी है सरकार।
यहां पूरे शहर में कही भी आने जाने का किराया पन्द्रह बीस रुपये से ज्यादा नही लगा मुझे।  शायद इसलिए यहां यूबर और ओला की दाल गलके हलवा हो चुकी है।
कोका कोला चौराहे के पास सुबह 5:30 से 9 बजे तक आयुर्वेदिक जूस मिलता है।  दस रुपये ग्लास,
नीम आंवला और किसी और एक फल का।
यहां के बच्चे जो भीख मांगते है,
वो आपसे पैसा नही बल्कि खाने का दाम मांगते है।
मतलब बस पेट भरने से मतलब है।
सड़क के किनारे छोटी छोटी बाउंड्री पर जो विज्ञापन के लिए, नीले और कई रंगों से पेंटिंग की गई है,
वो देखने मे अलग ही दिखती है।
आप को यहां पानी पूरी नही पर पानी के बताशे मिल जाएंगे खाने को। लोग यहां कम बोलते है,
क्यों ये आप जानते होंगे।
खैर आज एक सीख मिली,
मुझे अगर दुनिया घुमनी है तो शुरुआत इन शहरों से करनी होगी।
और इन शहरों की सुबह से।

और हा उपर जिस महान आदमी का जिक्र है,
वो मैं ही हूँ।
और कोई बात तथ्य गलत लिखा हो तो कृपया उसी तरह इग्नोर मार दे जैसे रास्ता पूछने वाले को कानपुर के लोग इग्नोर मार देते है। अब दो कौड़ी के एड्र्स के लिए कौन 5 रुपये की पुड़िया थूके?
तो इस दिलदार शहर को देखकर एक बात समझ आयी,
चाहे गलतफहमी अफवाह कुछ भी हो जाये,
इस शहर के लोग अपने शहर को जलने तो बिल्कुल न देंगे।
इसलिए मेरे दोस्तों भाइयो,
कानपुर एक ऑटो है,
यहां कभी आप किसी की गोंद में बैठिए,
कभी कोई और आपकी गोंद में बैठेगा,
प्रेम से रहिये, आखिर सफर तो आप दोनो को ही हर रोज इसी तरह एक दूसरे की गोद मे बैठकर करना है।
इसलिए भाइयो बहनों,
जरा खसकिये। ;)

If one is to the name the versatile singers in Bollywood, KK’s name cannot be missed out from the list. From singing romantic numbers to crooning upbeat songs, KK has done it all with absolute dedication. With his soothing voice, he has given every song an identity and made a place for himself in the hearts of millions of Hindi music lovers. KK turned 48 this year.

1] KK’s musical journey began with listening to her mother’s Malayali songs which his father would record in a little tape recorder when he was studying in Delhi's Mount St. Mary School. The singer, who is amongst the top names in Bollywood music, never had any formal training in music. During his school days, he would listen to his favourite songs and just hum along. Born and brought up in South Delhi’s Green Park, KK loved the song ‘Mehbooba’ from Sholay. People would often ask him to sing that song and he would happily oblige. It was after a stage performance in school when he was in 2nd class that KK started taking music seriously. He sang ‘Jab andhera hota hai’ from 1973 film Raja Rani and the crowd greeted the little KK with a huge round of applause. KK calls this moment life changing and claims that it has helped him become what he is today.

2] For almost 24 years now, KK is married to his childhood sweetheart, Jyothy Krishna. But before he could take holy vows with his ladylove, he had to find himself a job. KK took up the job of a salesman just for the heck of it. Now a married man, KK was frustrated after 6 months of his job. It was due to the support of his wife and his father, he gained courage to quit it and pursue what he was made for-music. He bought himself a keyboard and started making jingles with friends Shibani Kashyap and Saibal Basu. The trio made some money too but KK was not satisfied. And for the solace he was longing for, he finally got out of the comfortable confines of Delhi and left for Mumbai.

3] Apart from Bollywood songs[Likely 500_Songs], KK has lent his voice to almost 3000 jingles. In fact, it was with jingles he started off his career. In 1985, KK’s first jingle with Loy Mendonsa came up. As soon as the jingle went on-air, people started taking notice. Upon hearing his voice on television, KK was ecstatic. The story of his first paycheck that he received for voicing his first jingle is even more riveting. Music director Ranjit Barot asked KK about his rate but completely unaware of the industry, the singer was reticent. Ranjit then flashed him his five fingers which made KK assume that he was going to be paid Rs. 500 for his work. However, when he received the check, he was stunned to see that the amount was actually Rs. 5000.

4] Although, KK’s big Bollywood break was in the form of ‘Tadap tadap’ from Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, his first Bollywood song was ‘Chhod aaye hum’ wherein he got to sing the first two lines. KK had also recorded songs for Shekhar Kapur’s Tara Rum Pum and Vishal Bharadwaj’s Hum Panchhi Hain Daal Ke but neither saw the light of the day. That’s when the determined KK got to sing ‘Tadap tadap’ that completely changed the game for him and there was no looking back. Be it Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai’s title track or ‘Banda ye bindaas hai’ from Aks, KK’s every song was a chartbuster. The Delhi guy was now living his dreams.

5] He might have crooned a hundred chartbusters in his soulful voice but KK has not been very lucky with awards. In his long career of almost two decades, KK has won only one award, which was a Screen Award he received in 2008 for ‘Khuda jaane’ from Bachna Ae Haseeno. While a diehard KK fan would blame the jury for this, KK blames himself for not getting awards. He says that he has never really had a desire of winning awards and that if one doesn’t desire something, they don’t get it.

Personally A Big Fan OF KK Sir, I Love His "Ajab Si" Much More Than Any Other Song!!
